The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI, is seeking a part-time clerical assistant to support admissions, record retrieval and filing, while maintaining patient confidentiality. You will assist patients and staff via telephone, handle data entry, and manage calendar tasks.
The role requires a high school level of knowledge, 3 months office experience, and familiarity with medical terminology. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 12-4pm, on-site with a pay range of $18.00 to $25.82 per hour.
SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Manager/Supervisor, performs a variety of clerical, data entry, record retrieval and filing duties in support of assigned department. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
