Job description

2nd shift Work Hours - Sunday from 5pm-1:30am and Monday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm

Pay rate $17/hr - $1.50/hr shift premium for hours worked after 6pm

2-3 week paid training Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver’s assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers
  • Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
  • Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system
  • Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-shows, or unscheduled arrivals
  • Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
  • Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • Basic math skills may be required at some facilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers; English proficiency may be required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, with appropriate PPE
  • May need to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may vary by facility
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends if needed
  • Comfortable with various noise levels, which can sometimes be loud
