Job summary

Garner Cleaning Service seeks a dependable Cleaning Technician to service client locations in Southern Illinois. The role requires self-motivation, the ability to work independently or with a team, and leadership where needed.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, trash removal, dusting, restroom and break room upkeep, and floor care across offices and conferences. Applicants with prior cleaning experience are preferred; a criminal background check will be conducted.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

Transportation: Successful candidates must have a reliable vehicle or transportation to get to job sites. Applicants must also have a valid driver's license.

Background Check: Due to requirements of our clients, the successful candidate must pass a criminal background check.

Experience: Candidates with prior cleaning experience will be prioritized over those with no experience.

Requirements of Job:

• The successful candidate will be someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision or in a team, able to lead others on job sites, solve problems, and create successful outcomes.
• The tasks required include general cleaning, including, but not limited to trash removal; dusting; cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms; sweeping and mopping floors; vacuuming floors; window washing; and other duties as assigned.
• Specific duties may vary depending on the List of Specifications required by the client at each location.

Cleaning Technician I, Cleaning Technician II, Senior Cleaning Technician, Supervisor, Manager

Benefits:

Paid Time Off: Earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Available for use after 90 days of employment.

Training: Garner Cleaning Service will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures, and use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.
