Job Description
Immediate opening for a part-time person to provide cleaning in an office environment. We are looking for a responsible person, with a strong work ethic who has strong attention to detail to perform general office cleaning duties.
Typical Schedule:
- Monday through Friday evenings
- 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (start time is flexible)

Responsibilities
- Sweep & mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
- Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc.
- Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
- Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty wastebaskets, service soap, and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules.
- Collect building trash daily placing it in an approved container including replacing liners in wastebaskets and placing collected trash in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
Requirements
- Prior Cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be able to speak, interpret and read the English language with fluency.
- Ability to follow schedules, keep commitments & demonstrate professionalism
- Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably.
- Have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.
