Job summary

Method Cleaning Services is seeking a responsible part-time cleaner for an office setting. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to maintain clean offices.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 10 hours per week from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds and have transportation. Background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English fluently.
• Follow schedules and demonstrate professionalism.
• Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Candidate must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces in buildings.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, and fixtures.
• Wash window sills and glass in interior doors and partitions.
• Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Collect building trash daily and replace liners.

Immediate opening for a part-time person to provide cleaning in an office environment. We are looking for a responsible person, with a strong work ethic who has strong attention to detail to perform general office cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Sweep & mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc.
• Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty wastebaskets, service soap, and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules.
• Collect building trash daily placing it in an approved container including replacing liners in wastebaskets and placing collected trash in designated collection area for subsequent removal.

• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

• Must be able to speak, interpret and read the English language with fluency.
• Ability to follow schedules, keep commitments & demonstrate professionalism
• Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably.
• Have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.
