Job summary

Method Cleaning Services seeks a part-time cleaner to provide office cleaning in a professional environment. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision within a small team.

Typical schedule includes Mondays and Thursdays for 6 hours total, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. A background check is required; valid driver's license and transportation are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to speak, interpret and read the English language with fluency.
• Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably.
• Have a valid driver's license and your own transportation.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Candidates must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep & mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc.
• Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty wastebaskets, service soap, and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules.
• Collect building trash daily placing it in an approved container including replacing liners in wastebaskets and placing collected trash in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
