Job summary

Carriage Mobile Homes, Inc. is seeking an organized Office Associate to join its property management team in Lafayette Township, New Jersey.

This role focuses on day-to-day office operations, resident relations, and coordination with vendors to keep the community running smoothly. You will learn the property management business, handle documentation, provide excellent customer service, and support management on special projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams. Must be able to learn proprietary software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and employees.
• Handle daily office operations, including phones, emails, mail, packages, deliveries, and general correspondence.
• Respond to resident questions and requests and help resolve issues with professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate resident records, files, databases, and other important property documentation.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, inspections, and other community activities.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, notices, and other documents.
• Prioritize resident communications and community operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors regarding service requests and property-related issues.
• Order and maintain office supplies and monitor office inventory.
• Assist Management with special projects and administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident and company information appropriately.
• Learn and apply landlord-tenant law, applicable housing regulations, company policies, and fair housing requirements.

Carriage Mobile Homes, Inc. is a family-owned residential subdivision focused on selling new and preowned manufactured homes as well as leasing and is located in the heart of Lafayette Township, New Jersey.

In this role, you’ll be an important part of the day-to-day operation of our community. You’ll work with residents, vendors, employees, and management while gaining hands-on experience in the many areas of property management. What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree preferred.


• At least 2 years of administrative, customer service, property management, real estate, or related experience. Property management or real estate experience is a plus!

• Professional, friendly, and confident when interacting with residents and the public.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
