Core Responsibilities:

As an Office Assistant II, you will be performing a variety of administrative support duties including typing, filing, making copies, answering telephones and other general clerical duties as needed. These duties may include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls,
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail,
  • Filing of paperwork and documents,
  • Faxing, scanning and indexing documents,
  • Assisting in a back-up capacity for Regional Operations staff, in greeting/screening individuals coming into the office and asking questions to determine needs and referring to appropriate employee, unit or office for services. As well as receiving, routing and transferring all incoming calls and documenting all walk in traffic on the electronic walk-in log.
  • Other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify, you must have training, education or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates:

  • competency in applying a solid knowledge of modern office practices to perform complex, varied office support tasks.
  • the ability to use independent decision making on processing information, following appropriate processes, and acting in accordance with standard procedures.
