Pierce County Juvenile Court is seeking an administrative professional to support daily operations and youth-focused work. The role emphasizes relationship-building, professional communication, and accurate handling of records and correspondence within a court setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and proofread routine material and correspondence.
  • Provide information and assistance in response to inquiries from the public.
  • Organize, maintain and retrieve information and documents from files and records.
  • Manage routine correspondence and respond to information requests referenced in office records.
  • Take minutes at meetings and coordinate meetings.
  • Maintain simple bookkeeping and basic financial/statistical records.
  • Perform general office management duties and procure publications or supplies.
  • Operate standard office equipment and software applications.
  • Assist in data searches to develop information from non-standard sources.
  • Assist in training other administrative staff.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.

Core Daily Responsibilities:

  • Operate standard modern office equipment and applications/software.

  • Assisting in specially assigned data searches to develop or recover information from non-standard sources.

  • Assisting in the training of other administrative staff.

  • Perform other job functions as assigned.
