Job summary

Commercial Metals (CMC) is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in South Carolina to join our finance team. You will process payments, maintain vendor accounts, and ensure accuracy of supplier invoices while supporting continuous process improvements.

The role requires at least two years in accounts payable, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP. We offer competitive pay, benefits from Day 1, and opportunities to advance within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Extensive knowledge in Excel, RECY and SAP experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pay Scrap and Freight accounts per approved payment terms.
• Maintain assigned account details.
• Analyze and resolve scale issues.
• Work closely with marketing to ensure accuracy of supplier payments.
• Active participation in department improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with any additional projects assigned by Accounting Manager.
