As an Office 365 Engineer, you will be the cornerstone of managing our Office 365 ecosystem. Your role will extend to the meticulous administration of Exchange Online, safeguarding our OneDrive and SharePoint Online data, enhancing the client experience for Teams, implementing Purview for compliance management, and fortifying our defenses with Microsoft Defender.

Location and Workplace Flexibility: We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the company’s Office 365 tenant, including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint services.
2. Manage user accounts, groups, licenses and security settings.
3. Implement and manage Purview policies to ensure compliance with data governance.
4. Utilize Microsoft Defender to protect against threats across identities, data, applications, and devices.
5. Handle user accounts, groups, licenses, and security configurations across all Office 365 services.
6. Monitor service health, manage updates, and optimize performance.
7. Facilitate the adoption of new features and collaborate with IT to troubleshoot issues.
8. Deliver end-user training and support for all Office 365 services and security tools.
9. Stay current with Microsoft’s updates and changes to Office 365 services.

Required Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience administering Office 365 (including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint) within an enterprise environment.
2. Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration.
3. Strong understanding of Office 365 Services and their integration with on-premises technologies.
4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

1. Microsoft certifications.
2. Proficiency in Purview for compliance and Microsoft Defender for advanced threat protection.
