Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Offensive Security Engineer, Intermediate, to support the Naval Aviation Red Team at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role emphasizes vulnerability research, tool development, and hands-on security analysis in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Requires a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a BS in CS/Engineering or similar, 5+ years of experience, and DoD qualifications within 60 days. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain DoD Cyber Workforce Framework qualifications within 60 days.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience using GHIDRA and reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro.
• Ability to interact with clients and work in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or inventors.
• Research cyber threats, adversarial tools, techniques, and mitigations.
• Develop solutions for system security and vulnerability in hardware/software.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of core technology areas.
• Analyze security of new or existing applications and provide actionable results.
• Perform threat/vulnerability analysis during major changes to systems.
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities in development and implementation of programs.
• Support missions and obtain AIR-RT qualifications as required.
