Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks an Offensive Security Engineer, Intermediate to support the Naval Aviation Red Team at Patuxent River, MD. This on-site role focuses on vulnerability research, tool development, and risk assessments for AIR-RT operations.

Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, Python, GHIDRA/IDA Pro, and the ability to work with clients and sponsors in a fast-paced team setting. Clearance and DoD alignment are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in offensive security or cyber operations.
• Experience with DoD Cyber Workforce Framework roles and certifications within 60 days of start.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience using GHIDRA and IDA Pro for reverse engineering.
• Ability to communicate with clients and sponsors and work in a diverse team.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research and tool development for AIR-RT operations.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of local computing environments, networks, and applications.
• Analyze security of applications and provide actionable results.
• Develop solutions focusing on system security and vulnerability in hardware/software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support environments with risk analyses during major changes.
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities in development and implementation of operational programs.
• Maintain readiness by obtaining qualifications per the AIR-RT Handbook.
