Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security Vulnerability Researcher, Intermediate to support the Naval Aviation Red Team at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain qualifications aligned with one or more DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) roles within 60 days of start (DCWF IDs listed).
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience using GHIDRA and IDA Pro for reverse engineering.
• Ability to interact with clients and sponsors; work in a diverse, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or inventors.
• Research cyber threats, adversarial tools, techniques, and mitigations.
• Develop solutions for system security and vulnerability in hardware/software.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of focus areas (local env, network, enclave, infra, apps).
• Analyze security of new or existing applications and provide actionable results.
• Perform threat/vulnerability analyses during major changes.
• Support AIR-RT Handbook qualifications for mission needs.
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities in development and implementation of programs.
