Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Jr. Subject Matter Expert with specialized knowledge in offensive cyber operations to bridge mission needs with software development. You will translate operational requirements into technical implementations for various OCO mission types, including interactive, sustained, automated, and identity operations.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, U.S. citizenship, and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in offensive cyber operations or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent substitution).
• Strong understanding of OCO workflows and mission requirements.
• Experience with cyber tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of automation principles and workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational context for feature development.
• Translate Operational Needs (ONs) into technical requirements.
• Support workflow design and validation.
• Participate in user acceptance testing.
• Assist with training material development.
• Provide feedback on UI/UX designs from operational perspective.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
