Job summary

Farmer Focus in Liberty is seeking an Offal Attendant to support first processing operations on-site. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict USDA safety and sanitation protocols.

You will inspect trucks for fullness, ensure proper drainage, and use high-pressure hoses to maintain cleanliness. The role requires independent work with clear communication to operations leadership, and compliance with immigration/work authorization requirements.

Qualifications

  • Extremely reliable, responsible, and able to follow strict protocols consistently.
  • Comfortable performing tasks in outdoor and industrial production environments.
  • Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Selected candidate must pass a drug and alcohol screening post-offer and prior to start.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; Immigration Reform and Control Act verification by end of the third day of work.

  • Climb and inspect trucks to monitor fullness and help prevent overfilling.

Department: First Processing Operations Reports To: Production Supervisor Live Receiving FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Liberty Facility Work Arrangement: On-site Shift / Schedule: 1st shift Travel Requirements: NA Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview / Purpose and Scope The Offal Attendant supports first processing operations by helping maintain safe, sanitary, and compliant work areas. This hands-on role requires trustworthiness, attention to detail, reliability, and the physical capability to inspect truck fullness, maintain proper drainage, and keep the area clean so operations continue running smoothly and in compliance with USDA standards.

Key Responsibilities

Climb and inspect trucks to monitor fullness and help prevent overfilling. Ensure proper drain function and maintain cleanliness of the assigned area. Use high-pressure hoses regularly to support sanitation standards. Keep the ground clear of debris to support safety, cleanliness, and USDA compliance requirements. Follow company protocols, safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and instructions from leadership. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

This role is performed on-site in an outdoor and industrial first processing environment. The position requires regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and use of high-pressure hoses. Team members may work around wet surfaces, production equipment, outdoor conditions, varying temperatures, noise, and sanitation-related materials. Required personal protective equipment and safety procedures must be followed at all times. No regular travel is required. This position does not have an application deadline. Farmer Focus will recruit until the role is filled.
