Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Florida seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead off-shift quality and food safety initiatives, evaluate daily production, and ensure compliance with KHMS, HACCP, FDA, and local regulations.

You will mentor QA, maintenance, and production teams, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation, document control, and supplier relations across the plant.

A strong background in GMPs, 5S, and lean manufacturing, plus leadership experience in food manufacturing, is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality, production, or sanitation within the food industry with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles, food safety regulations, quality system management, sanitation rules, production processes, and KHMS framework.
• Strong leadership, technical, communication, delegation, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the quality supervisor leader for the department maintaining high food safety compliance.
• Direct site auditing control program to ensure procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Perform assignments with 5S, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Support KHMS system and plant standards; coordinate with ISO/FSSC teams.
• Train and mentor off-shift QA, Maintenance, Materials, and Production teams; support KHMS/ISO coordination.
• Monitor and maintain KHMS program; lead cross-functional quality teams.
• Ensure KPI, KHMS, FSSC/ISO plans are executed and followed.
• Coordinate inspections/regulatory visits and audit preparations.
• Lead responses to non-conformances and approve change requests.
• Monitor weekly sanitation records and drive sanitation improvement projects.
• Direct sanitation and environmental control programs including audits and testing.
• Conduct full sanitation audits, equipment tear-downs, and validation studies for CCPs/OPRPs.
• Adhere to GMPs and change control procedures; act as point of contact for third shift meetings.
