Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring an ACID TECHNICIAN for our Ti-Cast operation in Whitehall, Michigan. This on-site, full-time role requires handling acid solutions, inspecting castings to spec, and preparing acids per customer requirements while following strict EHS rules.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of manufacturing experience or six months in manufacturing. Visa sponsorship is not available; OT and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months continuous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes castings through acid solutions as part of Ti-Cast operation.
• Inspects grain on casting to customer specifications.
• Prepares new acid solutions according to customer specs.
• Complies with all EHS rules for the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned and works overtime/on off-shift as needed.
• Regular weekend shifts may be scheduled.
