Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a skilled vehicle development and race support professional to lead development, validation, and testing for Powersports programs. The role involves hands-on fabrication, calibration, and data analysis to drive product improvements.

You will coordinate with engineering, race teams, suppliers, and partners, manage testing schedules, and translate race insights into future product enhancements. Travel to events is expected as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanic, technician, race support, vehicle development, or related experience.
  • Two-year or four-year degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to operate Polaris Powersports vehicles in demanding off-road conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vehicle development, validation, and race support activities for Polaris Powersports racing programs.
  • Support development and optimization of race-specific calibrations across systems.
  • Lead fabrication, assembly, and preparation of development vehicles and prototype components.
  • Organize and lead development and testing activities in field environments.
  • Serve as technical liaison between race teams, engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
  • Develop test plans, validation procedures, and data acquisition strategies to support product development.
  • Generate technical reports and present findings to engineering teams and leadership.
