Job summary

Qualifications

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Experience operating articulated and rigid frame haul trucks preferred.
• Able to perform general laborer duties as needed.
• Work outdoors in all weather; tolerate loud noises and dust.
• Willingness to work in a team and assist others.
• Reliable attendance; willing to overtime, weekends, or different shifts as production requires.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time.
• Must be able to provide documentation to prove identity and eligibility for work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production.
• Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the mine faces to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
• Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe procedures and environment.
• Willingness to be cross trained on other heavy equipment.
