Job summary

Doss Enterprises, LC is seeking an Off‑Road Truck Driver to operate haul trucks safely on project sites under the supervision of the Project Superintendent and Foreman. You will inspect equipment, maintain cleanliness, and help meet daily production targets while complying with safety rules and site procedures.

Responsibilities include following spotter instructions, reducing idle time, and communicating clearly with operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely operate off-road haul trucks in construction, mining, quarry, or earthmoving environments.
• Knowledge of site safety practices, PPE, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to communicate effectively using radios and hand signals.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate off‑road haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre‑shift inspections and report hazards.
• Maintain equipment care and preventive maintenance basics.
• Follow spotter instructions, signals, and radio communications.
• Coordinate movements to avoid conflicts with other trucks and equipment.
• Dump materials accurately and monitor dump area conditions.
