Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking an Articulated Haul Truck Driver to support our pipe crews by transporting large volumes of material across rough terrain at construction sites in the Midwest.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver's license, MSHA certification, and a high school diploma or GED. The role requires flexibility with hours, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in challenging conditions. Union membership may be required or pursued with HR assistance.

Qualifications

• MSHA certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed.
• Able to work in variable weather and dirty/dusty environments.

• Able to pass Operators Union aptitude test when required.
• Ability to clean, maintain, and assist in repairing equipment.

The Position

We are looking for an Articulated Haul Truck Driver to support our pipe crews with transporting large volumes of material efficiently across rough terrain in construction, mining, and quarry operations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Must be MSHA certified
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, as needed
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments
• Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member is required. Union membership may not be required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is available to assist in that process if needed
• Successfully pass or has passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required
• Ability to clean, maintain, and assist in repairing equipment
