Job summary

Sheehan Family Companies, including Union Beer Distributors, invites entry-level Off-Premise Sales Representatives to join our Brooklyn-based team. You will sell, promote, and grow our expansive beer portfolio in New York City's fast-paced market.

Ideal candidates will develop relationships with existing and new off-premise accounts, expand distribution, and ensure proper merchandising and timely credit inquiries. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits in NYC.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance.
• Must have access to personal vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a weekly schedule of account appointments within the territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with off-premise accounts and promote goodwill.
• Represent Union Beer Distributors and grow brand presence in the market.
• Grow distribution across bar, restaurant, and hospitality accounts.
• Merchandise accounts with permanent and paper POS.
• Handle AR collections according to state law.
• Develop new accounts and distribution channels.
• Respond to customer inquiries about credit, delivery, and product information.
• Execute monthly and quarterly business goals.

Union Beer Distributors is currently seeking an entry-level Off-Premise Sales Representatives to join our team. As a representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to sell, promote, and contribute to the growth of our expansive portfolio in the fast-paced, highly competitive, and demanding market of New York City. Domestic Craft Beer will be your main focus along with a multitude of microbrew beers from around the world. Hired candidates will be responsible for forming relationships with our existing Off-Premise accounts, developing relationships with new Off-Premise accounts, and leveraging those relationships to increase sales and distribution of our products throughout the assigned geography.This position will cover the territory of Brooklyn.

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

What you will be doing:

• Establish and maintain a regular weekly schedule of account appointments within the assigned territory
• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company
• Represent our world-class brands in the market
• Grow brand presence within our existing bar, restaurant, and hospitality account base
• Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
• Effective accounts receivable collections according to State Law
• Develop new accounts and new distribution
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise
• Execute monthly and quarterly goals as related to business activities
• Other duties as assigned
