Job summary

Union Beer Distributors is seeking hardworking, motivated individuals to join our close-knit team in Brooklyn/ NYC. This role offers the opportunity to develop key account relationships, promote our beer brands, and grow market presence in a dynamic environment.

You will manage merchandising, collections, and distribution growth while supporting marketing and customer service efforts. We provide extensive training, tuition assistance, and a strong internal promotion culture.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company.
• Represent our brands in a dynamic market and grow presence within existing accounts.
• Merchandise accounts with permanent and paper POS materials.
• Perform Accounts Receivable collections according to state law.
• Grow the accounts base by opening new accounts and expanding distribution.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information.
• Execute monthly/quarterly priorities related to business activities.
• Create relationships with account personnel and supplier teams.
• Support Marketing in brand development and placement of promotional materials.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness; perform other duties as assigned.

• This position will cover the Brooklyn/NYC territory.

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company
• Represent our world-class brands in a dynamic market
• Grow brand presence within our existing accounts
• Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
• Effective Accounts Receivable collections according to State Law
• Develop accounts base by opening new accounts and growing points of distribution
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise
• Execute monthly and quarterly priorities as related to business activitiesCreate relationships with appropriate account personnel and supplier teams to maintain and improve customer service
• Support the Marketing Team in executing brand development programs and placement of promotional materials
• Rotate the product to maintain the freshness as required
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
• Has a passion for beer, superior customer service skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers
• Valid driver's license with active auto insurance
• Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong comfort level with technology
• Must be able to obtain a solicitor’s license and maintain
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
• Ability and willingness to work independently and with a team
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
