• Work with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
• Interact with the public in a professional manner.
• Drive to appointments in the Reno area.
• Continue education and increase skill in training, both dogs and humans.

We are a part of the fastest growing dog training company in the country—Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. We are looking to add 1 more trainer in the Reno area. This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must reside in or around the Reno area
• Must be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time (no apartment or townhome rentals)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a smartphone and computer
• Must have knowledge of social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Must attend and complete a 17‑day certification process at the OLK9 Training Facility in Fredericksburg, VA. The certification is free, but you are responsible for travel costs. A sign‑on bonus will be given after 3 months of employment with no negative remarks

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Handle and train small and large breeds from puppy to adult

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a passion for dogs. Computer skills with the ability to create dog training videos (learnable via YouTube). Ability to work during peak traffic periods on weekdays and weekends. Customer service and communication skills are essential.

Compensation

• $500 per 7‑day board and program
• $1,000 per 14‑day board and train program
• $1,500 per 21‑day board and train program
• $30 per hour for private training lessons completed at a local park
• $60 per hour for private IN‑HOME training lessons (you travel to client’s home)

The right person can easily earn $40 000–$60 000 per year (or more) working from home, with lots of flexibility, and doing something they love!
