Job Overview

We are a part of the fastest growing dog training company in the country – Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. We are looking to add 3 more trainers in the Prescott, AZ area. This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must reside in or around the Prescott area
• Must be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time (no apartment or townhome rentals)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a smartphone and computer
• Must have knowledge with social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Must attend and complete a 17‑day certification process at the OLK9 Training Facility in Fredericksburg, VA. This school and certification is free; you are responsible for travel costs. Upon employment for 12 months, I reimburse $1,000 of that travel cost.

Day‑to‑Day Requirements

• Handling and training small and large breeds from puppy to adult
• Working with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression
• Interacting with the public in a professional manner
• Driving to appointments in the San Diego area
• Continuing education and increasing skill in training, both dogs and humans
• Attend PR events
• Be self‑motivated

Ideal Candidate

• Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a passion for dogs
• Computer skills with the ability to create dog‑training videos (learnable via YouTube)
• The ability to work during peak traffic periods on weekdays and weekends
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Pay

Pay is equated by board and trains completed that month and hourly lessons completed. Trainers start out earning roughly:

• $500 per 7‑day board and program
• $1,000 per 14‑day board and train program
• $1,500 per 21‑day board and train program
• $30 per hour for a private training lesson completed at a local park
• $60 per hour for a private in‑home training lesson (you travel to the client’s home)

The right person can easily earn $40,000–$60,000 per year (or more) working from home, with lots of flexibility, and doing something you love!
