University of Michigan is seeking an Off Campus Non-Profit Student Employee- Collections Assistant (FALL WORK STUDY ONLY). The role supports the Collections Department, working with the Collections Manager to preserve, store, and display historic pieces while gaining hands-on museum experience.
This part-time, onsite position involves data entry, documentation, research, and adherence to safety policies. Approximately 8 hours weekly, with training and meetings as needed.
Must be eligible for Work Study Fall 2026. This is a position with an off campus agency as a Collections Assistant which is a support role within the Collections Department. The Collection Assistant will work closely with the Collections Manager and other staff to support projects that improve the preservation, storage, display of historic collections within the museum.
