Job summary

Novolex is hiring an Off Bearer in Downingtown, PA, for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). Starting pay is $22.17 per hour with weekly pay, plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities include handling blanks, quality checks, palletizing, and basic press support. The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse settings, and can read safety protocols in English.

Qualifications

• Must have GED or High School Diploma.
• 1yr + experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• The ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Picks up the required lanes of cut and printed blanks from the press delivery table.
• Jog Blanks and inspects for cutting or printing defects and notifies operator when defects are present.
• Stack blanks on a pallet to the required height.
• Wraps full pallet with stretch wrap and places completed load tag on the pallet.
• Moves full pallets of blanks with manual pallet jack or electric pallet jack to material handling staging area.
• Keeps work area clean.
• Assists with Make Ready on the press such as pulling cylinders, washing pumps, and changing gears.
• Assist with Machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision such as strapping loads, emptying bins or stack4
