Job summary

Novolex in Mt. Vernon, OH is seeking a PC Helper to support production by moving, storing, and delivering materials safely and efficiently.

The role involves receiving finished goods, forklift operation, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse while assisting production teams. Hours are days, 7am–7pm, with starting pay of $22.61/hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products.
• Operate forklifts and/or pallet movers.
• Support materials handling for production materials.
• Monitor lines and supply each line with materials.
• Interact with machine operators daily to anticipate needs.
• Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse.
• Develop, revise, and review documentation for materials activities.
• Weigh pallets and scrap when applicable.
• Unload, load trucks or stage trucks as directed by supervisor.
• Examine finished pallets before pickup.

Overview

The primary job function of a material handler is to move, store, and manage materials efficiently and safely within the facility to support production, storage, and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receipt of all finished products
• Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers
• Support the materials handling process for production related materials
• Daily monitor all lines, anticipate, and supply each line withallmaterials (including raw materials, boxes, poly bags, pallets, etc.) that will be needed throughout the shift
• Interact with machine operators on a daily basis in order to be able to anticipate any needs that they may have
• Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse
• Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities
• Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable
• Unload, load trucks, or stage trucks as necessary, or directed by the supervisor
• Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials
• Other duties as assigned
