Job summary

Petroplan is recruiting for an experienced OFE (Owner Furnished Equipment) Project Manager / Project Lead to support major power generation and energy infrastructure projects. The role oversees Power Island equipment scope across engineering, EPC, suppliers, QA/QC, commissioning, and operations while maintaining tight schedule controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in power generation, energy, EPC, or project execution.
• 5+ years of project leadership on medium- to large-scale power generation projects.
• Experience managing OEM equipment suppliers and major equipment packages.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with FAT, field testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and turnover.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead OFE purchase orders for major Power Island equipment and systems.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, engineering, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC engineering teams to align designs and deliverables with project requirements.
• Lead and participate in equipment design reviews and supplier meetings.
• Manage technical information exchange between OEMs, EPC, construction, commissioning, and owner teams.
• Monitor supplier progress against schedules and mitigate risks.
• Oversee QA/QC inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Support FAT, customer witness testing, inspections, and turnover activities.
• Participate in Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, equipment checkout, and punch-list resolution.
• Review installation packages, testing documents, turnover packages, and commissioning procedures.
• Ensure testing procedures meet OEM requirements and applicable standards.
