Job summary

eBay Compliance seeks a highly motivated professional to support the Sanctions program across the US and international marketplaces, with a core focus on integrating eBay subsidiaries into the sanctions framework. This role reports to the Sanctions Director and collaborates with product, data, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of compliance experience in fin-tech, e-commerce, start-ups or emerging financial services with a focus on sanctions.
• Project management experience, tracking milestones and coordinating across teams.
• Experience with sanctions screening tool requirements, testing, calibration and system implementation.
• Understanding of OFAC and non-U.S. sanctions regulations and reporting/retention obligations.
• Adaptability to fast-paced corporate transitions and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support subsidiary integration: onboarding newly acquired companies into the sanctions framework.
• Track milestones and timelines for sanctions system upgrades and integrations.
• Develop and maintain sanctions screening systems and calibrate to minimize false positives.
• Collaborate with product management to define screening requirements.
• Identify sanctions risk exposures for the business and new entities.
• Analyze transactional data to identify trends and potential sanctions risks.
• Review and investigate issues from screening processes for sanctions nexus.
