Qualifications

• 7+ years of civil litigation experience required.
• Strong ability to communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally for court appearances and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings/motions and other documents; take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and manage discovery requests/responses and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court and contribute to strategy and case development.

O'Hagan Meyer is seeking an Of Counsel with at least 7+ years of litigation experience to join its San Francisco, CA office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of the complex litigation process. The right attorney will have experience with any of the following matters: general liability, professional liability, products liability, employment, construction litigation, real estate, HOA, mass torts and/or class actions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in civil litigation
• This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
• This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective manner.
• This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
• Admission to the state bar of California is required.

Salary Range: $200,000 to $230,000
