The State of Missouri, Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD) seeks a Data Collection Specialist to support the OEWS program. You will contact Missouri employers by phone, email and mailings to gather wage and employment data, working both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities include analyzing SOC/NAICS classifications, tracking activity in data systems, ensuring data quality, and using Word, Excel with other software.

Qualifications

• Collect detailed occupational employment and wage information for Missouri employers by conducting a high volume of phone calls, emails, and other collection methods.
• Analyze job classification information by understanding SOC and NAICS.
• Properly track and enter activity into the data collection software system.
• Analyze returned employer reports for data quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Responsabilités

• Properly track and enter activity into the data collection software system.

• Develop knowledge of staffing patterns and industry classifications to solicit and code responses.
• Follow guidelines and requirements of the US BLS Cooperative Agreement with Missouri.
