Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is hiring an OEMS Business Analyst in New York to shape our OEMS platform. You will be the go-to authority on trading concepts, including FIX protocol, electronic execution, broker and venue connectivity, and trader workflows, translating that expertise into well-designed, thoroughly tested product features.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong foundation in trading and execution concepts with FIX protocol and broker/venue connectivity.
• Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable leading client conversations.
• Collaborative, cross-functional mindset and systems-level thinking.

Responsibilities

• Research trading workflows and FIX protocol behavior; propose and implement product solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on feature design with domain considerations from the start.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans; define edge cases and validate feature behavior.
• Log defects, retest, and verify fixes through resolution.
• Contribute to client conversations as a domain authority; produce white papers and internal communications.
• Mentor junior team members and help grow the team's knowledge.
