Job summary

Vitro Automotive Glass in Pittsburgh is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross‑functional OEM launches and projects from prototype through product release, ensuring on‑time delivery, cost targets and quality that satisfy both customer and Vitro. The incumbent will use the OEM Product Development & Launch Process and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to drive successful launches.

The role requires a four‑year engineering degree or comparable program management

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or comparable program management experience with large OEM customers.
A minimum of 3 years of lead experience on successful launches is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to summarize and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact between Vitro and the customer APQP systems.
Provide the Voice of the Customer while promoting Vitro's capabilities for successful launches.
Generate program deliverables using internal and external resources.
Communicate launch status, mitigate risks and ensure on-time gate reviews.
Oversee customer product development from prototype through launch to meet service and quality targets.
Ensure compliance with APQP/TS16949 for all programs under management.
Successfully transfer program accountability to the manufacturing site at the final launch gate.
