Job summary

Vitro Automotive Glass seeks a dedicated Project Engineer to coordinate design, fabrication, startup and handover of new value-add equipment at multiple US locations. You will maintain relationships with Program Management, Product and Plant engineering, equipment vendors and OEM customers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage medium to large capital projects from scope to handover.
• Strong vendor management and cost estimation experience.
• Proven ability to work with Program Management, Product Engineering and OEM customers.

Responsibilities

• Launch and handover value add equipment to manufacturing plants.
• Provide cost estimates for value add processes and equipment.
• Develop equipment standards and share best practices across the organization.
• Develop maintenance recommendations for new or modified equipment.
• Manage vendors to meet milestones and budgets for capital projects.
• Interface with Program Management, Product Engineering, Process Engineering and OEM customers to ensure equipment meets specs.
• Provide technical support to address customer needs and minimize impact of failures.
