Job summary

Chromalloy in New York is seeking a Production Worker to support aerospace component manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. You will use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to prepare materials, follow instructions, and help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.

Working 1st shift, Monday–Friday, you will operate with a focus on safety and teamwork, maintain a clean work area, and cross-train across multiple production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to prepare, clean, and process molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, and machinery.
• Perform production tasks following standardized work instructions and established procedures.
• Cross-train and support operations across multiple production areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Maintain compliance with JSAs, SDS, and company safety requirements.
• Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Starting Rate

$22.38/hr

What You’ll Be Doing

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to prepare, clean, and process molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, and machinery.
• Perform production tasks following standardized work instructions and established procedures.
• Cross-train and support operations across multiple production areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain compliance with Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and company safety requirements.
• Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching throughout the workday.
• Regular lifting and movement of materials up to 30 pounds.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety requirements
