Job summary

PDSSOFT INC. in San Jose, CA is seeking a device testing professional to perform hands-on testing of Android and iOS devices across multiple OEMs. The role requires networking/telecom testing experience and expertise in APN configuration, log analysis, and device troubleshooting.

You will configure devices, install software builds and test packages, execute test cases, document results, and generate clear defect reports for engineering teams. Exposure to test automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of Android and iOS smartphones/tablets across different OEM devices.
• Networking or telecom testing experience.
• Knowledge of APN configuration, band locking, NV changes, network troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Experience with network performance validation, signal testing, and connectivity testing.
• Experience configuring devices, installing software builds, applications, and test packages.
• Ability to execute test cases, follow test procedures, and accurately document results.
• Experience identifying and validating issues related to app behavior, UI responsiveness, crashes, battery consumption, thermal performance, and overall device stability.
• Experience collecting device logs and creating clear defect reports for engineering teams.
