Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply is seeking an Automation Sales Specialist to drive growth in industrial controls and automation solutions with OEMs based in Houston, TX. The specialist will engage in the machine design lifecycle and partner with sales teams to deliver solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in industrial automation sales. Strong consultative selling and technical understanding are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial automation sales or OEM business development.
• Experience working with machine builders or OEM customers preferred.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and influence early design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with OEM customers and identify design-in opportunities.
• Lead the sales process for automation opportunities with technical support.
• Position industrial controls within OEM machine architectures.
