Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Training Specialist to join the Odessa, TX area. The role focuses on developing and delivering training content, organizing New Hire Orientation, and maintaining training records while ensuring safety compliance and effective communication across operations and subcontractors.

The position requires travel up to 50%, proficiency in MS Office, and OSHA 500 certification eligibility, with a hybrid work arrangement in Odessa, TX.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum in Substation, Transmission, Underground or Overhead Distribution.
• Able to work in a team environment and assist where needed across the Utility Segment Training organization.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations to facilitate training as needed.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be able to operate or learn heavy equipment and PPE inspection per PSC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce and distribute training materials, handouts, aids, and manuals.
• Maintain training rosters and records for all classes and activities.
• Assist in multiple training events in corporate or community settings using traditional or modern training methods.
• Organize, schedule, and facilitate training for New Hire Orientation and annual/compliance training.
