Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is hiring an experienced OD Machine Operator for a precision grinding operation in Addison, IL. You will operate CNC, N/C, and manual OD grinders, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to verify parts.

Ideal candidates have hands-on grinding experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while meeting production goals. Monday–Friday schedule with hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC or manual OD grinding machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, N/C, and manual OD grinding machines safely.
• Set up and adjust grinding equipment per specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Verify part dimensions with micrometers, indicators, and calipers.
• Inspect parts for quality and dimensions.
• Monitor machine performance and production rates.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues.
• Complete production and inspection paperwork accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual and/or CNC OD grinding machines, be comfortable reading blueprints, and have strong experience using precision measuring tools. Schedule: Monday–FridayPay:$18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experienceAvailable Start Times:4:00 AM–12:30 PM5:00 AM–1:30 PM6:00 AM–2:30 PM7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities
