Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a research role within Dr. Chaurasia's translational ophthalmology team. The position focuses on designing and executing experiments, data analyses, and manuscript preparation in ocular disease therapeutics.

The successful candidate will work with small- and large-animal models, maintain rodent colonies, perform histology and flow cytometry, and contribute to protocol development in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of experience preferred in ophthalmology research.
• Experience with translational research and animal handling is a plus.
• Strong data recording and manuscript preparation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex experiments in ocular research.
• Maintain rodent colonies: breeding, genotyping, imaging, and functional tests.
• Work with pig and rabbit models; assist in cell culture, histology, and molecular analyses.
