Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank in Nashville, TN is seeking an Ocular Distribution Coordinator to manage the daily placement and distribution of ocular tissues. The role involves coordinating schedules, ensuring timely shipments, and maintaining recipient follow-up data, with duties expanding to research tissue distribution and data analysis.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1 year in client services or eye banking, with the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank (SDSEB) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at SDSEB is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are seeking an Ocular Distribution Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily activities related to the placement and distribution of ocular tissues.

Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank is based out of Sacramento, California and is a member of the DCI Donor Services family. Employees are located in California and Tennessee.

The required shift for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM CST.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

• Prioritize placement of corneas
• Maintain recipient post-operative follow-up information
• Coordinate distribution of research tissue to investigators
• Assist with sales and performance data accrual and analysis
• Additional duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a client services capacity or 1 year of experience in eye banking
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
