Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Biology Laboratory Researcher in Irvine, CA to support sample analysis, testing, and data collection on ocular tissue and related models. The role involves hands-on work in an onsite lab with animal-derived ocular tissues and established protocols.

The candidate will execute experiments, develop setups, document results, and ensure data quality while collaborating with the research team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biology or related life science.
• Hands-on experience in biology/biomedical lab.
• Experience with pipettors and multiwell plates.
• Strong ability to follow protocols and produce traceable results.
• Experience with cell culture and ocular tissue handling.
• Experience in ocular tissue/ophthalmic research or vision science.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments with biological samples, cell cultures, tissues, and ocular models.
• Handle and analyze animal-derived ocular tissue such as porcine eyes.
• Prepare samples using pipettors, plates, balances, and microscopes.
• Follow protocols and assist in developing test setups.
• Record observations and data, maintaining proper documentation.
• Maintain lab safety and keep equipment and workspace organized.
