Position Summary
The Ophthalmic Photographer performs multiple ophthalmic imaging techniques to assist physicians in the examination and treatment of diseases of the eye. The Ophthalmic Photographer successfully performs procedures such as digital fluorescein (including performing injections and related patient care), color fundus photography, optical tomography, retinal thickness analysis, etc.

The Ophthalmic Photographer works closely with physicians, patients, and other clinic floor staff.

Working Conditions
Work is generally performed at the main clinic, located at 800 N. First Street, Wausau, WI but will require travel to the satellite locations on a regular basis. Hours of work will depend on the needs of the Clinic.
This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
