Job summary

Hatch is seeking a highly motivated OCS (Overhead Contact System) Engineer to join our North American Infrastructure group in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will design OCS layouts and coordinate with engineers for systems integration. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with 5 to 15 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of experience with DC OCS systems design.
• Experience with rail electrical systems including 600 to 1500 volt DC.
• Thorough understanding of local codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design OCS layout and structures for various rail systems.
• Coordinate with engineers for systems integration.
• Prepare design reports and cost estimates.

Skills

Design of DC OCS systems

Understanding of National Electrical Safety Code

AutoCAD or MicroStation experience

Project management experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering

Professional engineer’s license

Tools

STAAD software
