As a Training and Exercise Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing development of Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-compliant exercises including documenting after-action reports and initiating continuous improvement efforts. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Enterprise Records and Information Manager to develop specific training and maintain the Commonwealth’s General Records Retention and Disposition schedules. Work involves collaborating with agencies, field offices, and third parties to provide technical assistance and educate staff regarding the rules, regulations, and policies pertaining to the creation, maintenance, storage, scheduling, transfer, retention, and disposition of all records. Within this role, you will work with designated Continuity of Operations (COOP) Managers, to evaluate their unique operations and determine how to meet their needs by developing plans, gathering data, and preparing exercises regarding the use, maintenance, and storage of plans and tools.
