Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks a Deputy Director OCIP Management Risk Control to lead risk control for Owner Controlled Insurance Programs, including safety and loss prevention across large capital projects.

You will supervise staff, manage OCIP operations, and coordinate with external insurers and TPAs while reporting to senior executives. A strong background in risk, insurance, and financial modelling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Management, Risk Management, Finance or related field
• Minimum 10 years Risk and Insurance Management
• Minimum 4 years Supervisory Experience

Responsibilities

• Select, develop and motivate personnel within the department; provide coaching and discipline as needed.
• Manage OCIP programs and supervise safety and loss control activities.
• Oversee investment portfolio reporting, OCIP audits, and insurance coverages.
• Provide financial modeling and reporting to senior management and consultants.
• Interact with agency executives and present OCIP analyses to reduce loss.
• Oversee loss picks, reserves, and third-party administrator coordination.
