Job summary

CAI is seeking an Oracle Database Analyst to support OCI-based database infrastructure and a new HCM deployment. Contract, hybrid role based in San Bernardino, CA, with direct employment through CAI and no sponsorship.

You will work with IT, HR, and Oracle teams to design, provision, and optimize Oracle Database services in the cloud. Ideal candidates have hands-on OCI experience, expertise in database migrations, and strong automation skills using IaC tools.

Qualifications

Experience provisioning and managing Oracle Cloud Database Services.
Strong OCI architecture knowledge: VCNs, IAM, Security Lists and NSGs.
Experience migrating databases to OCI using ZDM, Data Pump, and GoldenGate.
Hands-on IaC with OCI CLI, SDKs, Terraform or Resource Manager.
Knowledge of Oracle Database 19c or later.
Oracle DB administration on Windows environments.
Familiarity with RMAN backup/recovery methodologies.

Responsibilities

Participate in analysis, design, and creation of an Autonomous Database (ADB) in OCI.
Partner with IT, HR, and Oracle teams to deploy a new HCM platform.
Provision, configure, and manage OCI Database Services including Autonomous Database and Exadata.
Ensure database performance, security, integrity, and availability in OCI.
Migrate databases using Data Pump, ZDM, and GoldenGate.
Develop automation using OCI CLI, Terraform or Resource Manager.
