Job summary

A leading insurance management firm is seeking a skilled OCI Linux Administrator responsible for managing and optimizing Linux-based systems within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle Linux, as well as hands-on experience in system administration, security, performance tuning, and automation. Located in Wawatosa, WI, this role involves both technical management of systems and routine administrative tasks including scripting and networking configurations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux system administration (RHEL/Oracle Linux) required.
• Hands-on expertise in LVM, file systems, and storage management.
• Knowledge of system security practices and OS hardening essential.
• Basic to intermediate shell scripting skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and migrate RHEL and Oracle Enterprise Linux systems.
• Manage disk storage, file systems, and Logical Volume Manager (LVM).
• Conduct system security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell scripting and Ansible.
